Welcome to StedPrep, a web platform designed to help students prepare for the ISEE exam through diagnostic testing, AI-generated study plans, gamified learning features, and performance tracking.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("you," "user," "Parent," "Student," or "Validator") and StedPrep ("StedPrep," "we," "us," or "our"). By using or accessing our platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. User Eligibility and Role-Based Access

1.1. Eligibility

To use our platform, you must be:
  • A Parent (18 years or older) registering yourself and your child
  • An Admin or Validator authorized by StedPrep
  • A Student under the supervision of a Parent or legal guardian
You represent that all registration information you provide is accurate and current.

1.2. Role Definitions

  • Admin: Full administrative access to manage the platform.
  • Validator: Reviews and approves educational content for the platform.
  • Parent: Registers accounts, adds child profiles, subscribes, and tracks performance.
  • Student/Child: Uses study materials, takes tests, receives feedback, and earns badges.

2. Services Provided

StedPrep offers:
  • ISEE diagnostic assessments
  • Personalized AI-generated study plans
  • Practice modules, quizzes, and performance insights
  • XP points and badges for progress motivation
  • Progress reports for parental review
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with notice.

3. Subscription, Billing & Payment

3.1. Subscription Terms

Access to premium features requires a paid subscription. Prices and billing cycles are disclosed at checkout.

3.2. Payment Processing

Payments are securely processed via a third-party provider. We do not store your payment card information.

3.3. Refunds and Cancellations

Unless otherwise specified, all payments are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription anytime, and access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

4. User Data and Privacy

We collect and process:
  • Parent's name, email, and password
  • Child's name, school, and ISEE target level
  • Diagnostic and performance data
Data use is governed by our [Privacy Policy], which forms part of these Terms. By using the platform, you consent to our data practices.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Study plans and feedback are partially AI-generated. While designed for accuracy and improvement, the results are recommendations only and do not guarantee exam performance.

7. Code of Conduct

You agree not to:
  • Use false or misleading information
  • Share login credentials
  • Attempt to access another user's account
  • Upload viruses or disruptive content
  • Abuse platform features or harass other users
  • Contribute plagiarized or inappropriate content as a Validator
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts for violations.

8. Intellectual Property

All content (including questions, tests, study plans, branding, software) is owned by or licensed to StedPrep. You may not reuse or reproduce any content without our written consent.

9. Platform Availability and Maintenance

We strive to keep StedPrep operational but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance may be conducted with or without notice.

10. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services (e.g., payment processors, analytics). Use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their actions or omissions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StedPrep shall not be liable for:
  • Losses from reliance on AI recommendations
  • Service interruptions or errors
  • Unauthorized access or data breaches
  • Indirect or consequential damages

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StedPrep, its affiliates, and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
  • Your use of the platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your content submissions or conduct

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms, at our discretion.
